Following the first major storm of the season, the follow-on, much weaker storm left up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall in Southern California's inland valleys, and more than a third of an inch towards the coast.
Most locations recorded between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, as a couple rounds of rain and showers came through in the evening, night and morning.
Of the nineteen WeatherCurrents stations, San Diego's City Heights neighborhood led the way this time, with a total of 0.38". In the inland valley area, Beaumont's Cherry Valley was next with 0.25". Lake Elsinore (0.24"), Wildomar (0.22"), Menifee (0.18"), De Luz (0.17") and Temecula (0.16") were next.
Jim Sappington recorded 0.22" in the Temecula Valley Wine Country.
Anza had a dusting of snow on Friday evening, according to Curtis Croulet.
The lowest totals were in French Valley (0.00") and in Moreno Valley (0.01"). French Valley's rain gauge might be still experiencing problems.
This storm was the second in a series of four. The third storm is predicted to bring light rain and showers on Sunday, and should be even weaker than the second. Storm number four is due Tuesday and Tuesday night, with moderate rain and mountain snow expected.
