Fifteen minutes of hail accompanied this afternoon's downpour in the San Jacinto Valley. The skies opened up in the one o'clock hour, with the bulk of the rain occurring in the two o'clock hour.
The hail was reported on Park Avenue in Hemet, around 3pm. A rapid temperature gradient accompanied the thunderstorm, dropping temperatures from the 90's down to the 70's in the valley.
