HemetWeather.com, WeatherCurrents' Hemet weather site, was featured in a Press-Enterprise story today. One of the WeatherCurrents editors, Robert Leonard, was the focus of the story.
The Hemet site becomes the second WeatherCurrents site to be featured in a local Press-Enterprise story, following the Temecula site (and WeatherCurrents' other editor, John Toman) in December, 2003.
Some notes on the HemetWeather.com:
- Located in Valle Vista, in eastern Hemet.
- Weather data capture began January 19, 2003
- Became part of the WeatherCurrents weather network in February, 2004, as the third WeatherCurrents site.
- Switched to Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather equipment on August 1, 2005
- Hottest temperature recorded August 28, 2005: 109.2deg;F
- Surpassed 100,000 page views on September 28, 2005.
- Weather data from the site is featured weekly in The Valley Chronicle (although not in the online edition).
