Posted January 14, 2006, 5:23 PM.

A storm front that originally was forecast to dump up to a third of an inch in the inland valleys today is weakening as it is coming across the region. Showers are still possible tonight through Sunday morning, according to the latest forecasts, but any threat of major rainfall has diminished.

As of 5:20pm Saturday, no measurable rainfall had been recorded by any of WeatherCurrents' seven station in western Riverside and northern San Diego counties, although some rain had been reported to the west and north, in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
