A clog in WeatherCurrents' Fallbrook rain gauge Monday afternoon caused it to under-report rainfall during a significant portion of the most recent storm.
The backlog was still slowly dripping through Tuesday morning. We'll adjust totals later on Tuesday when the clog is cleared.
Actual rainfall for Tuesday (up to 4:35pm) was 1.93" at the Fallbrook site in the Winterwarm area, based on manual rain gauges that help us ensure accuracy.
Totals nearby were 1.81" on Canonita Road (thanks to R.C. Blankenhorn) and 1.85", also in Winterwarm (thanks to Dan Townley). |
